What you'll need

  • Printer and paper
  • String, yarn, floss, or a thin strip of paper
  • Scissors
  • Pen or marker
  • Ruler

3 Simple Steps

  • Take a piece of string, ribbon, thread, or a non-stretchable strip of paper. Wrap it around your finger, just below the knuckle, making sure it feels snug but comfortable.

  • With a pen, mark exactly where the ends of the string overlap. Strive for precision by making the smallest marks possible.

  • Place the string flat and measure its length with a ruler, using either millimeters or inches. Then, consult the ring size conversion chart below to determine your corresponding ring size.
